That is a great poem. Thanks! I am commenting just like you asked, but you already know me! ; ) Do you blog full-time? I'm serious! How in the WORLD do you have time to do all that you do on this thing? You are constantly helping out others while continuing to post about your own family. YOU AMAZE ME! ; )
I guess that it helps to fill this sense of emptiness I have over being able to nothing to bring me closer to my daughter than wait. But I have to say that I have been helped immensely by the IA blog community. Whenever I have a question or need information, someone always comes through for me. Most of the time it is a lot of someones. I have met some great women-you included who have been great coaches and examples to me.
I had contacted Brian Stuy last January and he told me to get back to him in April...that he thought by then he would have the finding ads for Inner Mongolia...so I emailed him a couple of days ago and he emailed me back saying he had Ava's.
Thanks for sharing that. Also, thank you for your kind words on my blog. Also, I'd be interested in being a part of the group you mentioned in Michigan.
"Once our eyes are opened, we can't pretend we don't know what to do. God, who weighs our hearts and keeps our souls, KNOWS that we know, and holds us responsible to act." Proverbs 24:12
I am an everyday woman. I am married to my soulmate. I have three sons ages 16,13 & 4. Adoption was never something that I had planned to do, but through an interesting path, God has led me and my husband to pursue the adoption of our daughter Sophia from China. It has changed me in so many ways. I cannot wait to look in the mirror and see the woman I will be when this journey is over.

You are one special kind of woman...you are an inspiration in your thoughtfulness.
Very sweet, thoughtful and beautiful.
love the picture and the poem ... it is a great motto as we wait for our daughters to not let our days pass without fulfilling them with purpose.

It's amazing how you can feel the warmth of a person's heart without being next to them. Your gentle spirit emanates from your chosen words.
